Car Alarms: brand new remote start wont work, gmc jimmy, resistance level

QUESTION: hello i just purchased a carvox cx-999 remote start/pager and cant get the remote start to work. everything else works fine, it locks and unlocks and does everything fine EXCEPT FOR STARTING THE ENGINE. its installed on a 2001 GMC jimmy. what could it be?

ANSWER: Ok, what PASSLOCK II bypass module are you using?
If none, then you will need to aquire one.

QUESTION: is there any way to bypass the passlock without purchasing the module?

ANSWER: Sure, you can do it the hard way by
using the 2 relay and resistor option mentioned
on the site I sent you too.

Answer
Probably. It does not work in very low temps because
the resistance level will "float".
But if this is not your situation,
the application should do the trick.

The self learning bypass kit allows for the change and returns
it to the norm.
