Car Alarms: Diabling Karr alram in Honda Odyssey, honda odyssey, alram

I have a '96 Honda Odyssey with factory installed Karr Model 2010 alarm. I never paid for it so it was disabled when I bought the car.
However, when the battery runs down and needs to be replaced, the alarm would go off when any door is opened and I cannot jump the battery because the ignition is killed.
How do disarm the alarm?
