Vintage Cars: 1949 Ford F1, ford trucks, drivetrain

I want to buy a 1949 Ford F1 all original truck.  However, I am not sure of the
components of the drivetrain.  What type engine is a 223cid?  Is it a flathead?  
What trans does it have?  What is the rear?  How much do you think this truck is
worth if is a 2+ on the scale?
