Car Alarms: alarm randomly goes off, remote car starter, oooh

last year i got a python remote car starter/alarm when i lived in Arizona. months ago the alarm went off when i got home seconds after arming the alarm. anything and everything i strayed would not turn the alarm off. eventually after about 3 minutes it turned off. i ended up taking it back to where i got it installed and they said there was nothing wrong with it. recently though, almost everyday, the alarm randomly goes off when i arm the car. i disarm the alarm and try and re-arm the alarm and seconds later it goes off again. but sometimes it rearms with no problem. and sometimes it doesn't do it all. but its only recent that i have been having this problem after almost a year. please let me know what you think the problem is because i live in california now and i wouldnt like to drive all the way to az if they wouldnt know what the problem is
