Car Alarms: Gemini 7200/7300 Car Alarm Reset, resident technicians, alarmtek

Hi,

I lost the Gemini key fob for my VW Polo which means i now only have the spare which had a dead battery. I have replaced the battery and now although the fob lights up, it doesn't switch on / off the central locking or alarm. I have read your instructions on how to re-program the key fob but they all state the alarm should be disabled first with a working fob which i don't have. Can i disable this another way ?

Again, as i'm not overly familiar with how the alarm system is installed i cannot find the dip switches you are refering to in your notes, can you please help as at the moment i cannot use the car as the alarm goes off everytime i open the door with the key ?
