Car Alarms: Car Alarm Volume, keyless entry systems, car alarms

Question
I have a DEI Sidewinder 5000 that was already installed on a car that I just purchased. Everything seems to work fine, except the siren and chirp volume is hardly audible. Is there a way to adjust the volume or is there something that usually causes this? I know the volume can be loud because I heard it at the dealer(on firday) but, sometime between then and when I brought the car home (on saturday)the volume dropped very low. Please help and I appreciate any advice.
