Car Alarms: Clifford Arrow 5.1, clifford g5, keyless entry systems

Question
I recently got the Clifford G5 Arrow 5.1 installed but for some reason, it beeps (2) times to lock and (1) beep to unlock.  Does it have to be that way or can I change it.  I asked the shop that did the install and they said that they cannot do anything about it and that it was how it was manufactured.  I would like it to beep once to lock and twice to unlock.  Please tell me how I can do that.  Thanks so much.
