QuestionMy DII cranks but we're not getting any spark. We have fuel and the pump is working. We've changed the crank sensor, coils, verified MAF works, verified power to the coils is good, Cam sensor is good, went through wiring harness, plugs and wires are good and replaced battery. I'm out of ideas as to what could be going on. The M & S are flashing on the dash also. Any suggestions are much appreciated!
AnswerI think it's time to find a shop with an Autologic or T4 system and look at the engine computer's inputs and outputs on the live data screen.
I know you probably don't want to hear this, but there is a good chance there is an error in your previous diagnostic work, because no spark/fuel pressure present is a very uncommon condition. Most of the failures, like crank sensor, take away both fuel and spark.
The thing that removes spark alone is security lockout, and you cannot see that without the tester.
