Car Alarms: alram keeps sounding, 2007 nissan altima, nissan altima

I have a 2007 Nissan altima and my alarm keeps going off. I was told that it may be the battery in my key pad is dead. I changed it but I am still having the same problem and cant really afford to take it to the dealer. Any suggestions...
