Car Alarms: 1997 Chrysler T & C anti-theft, chrysler dealer, 12 volt

Is there any way to disable this feature? My van runs great but since having the transmission rebuilt in Feb. 09 I have only driven 2000 mi. because the anti-theft feature sets and the vcehicle won't run. It will start and run for a few seconds and die. I took it to a Chrysler dealer in Carthage MO. and after 4 days when it did not set for them they were unable to find the problem.
