Car Alarms: remote starter/alarm, alarmtek, v6 mustang

Question
i have a 01 v6 mustang..had a prestige xro-9100 installed about a year ago...now i dont have brake lights..directionals..and when i apply my brake to shift out of park...it seems like it does not wanna release the trans. shift but i forces it out....i looked at my wiring and there seems to be a short....if i tug on the wires it works...only for a minute or two...can you give me some advice????

The obvious Bob. Re wire the whole system to discount
ANY troubles you have there.

Can hunt and peck all day for the short or do the
re wire and save some time.

Hard to nail down just what trouble you have there
without getting into the faulty wiring.
