Car Alarms: Aftermarket Power Door Lock Actuator, power door lock actuator, door locks

Question
My door lock motor has gone bad, so I purcased an aftermarkey 2 wire door actuator. It has two wires green and blue, however the door wires are brown and black and purple and black. I tested both of them and they are both (Blue) but also when I move to unlock/lock one becomes red and in the other direction the other becomes red, so they are both positive/negative?? how do I know which wire to connect to what? if they are both positive/negative, and they work either way I connect either wire, i just want to be sure it won't cause a fire.

Answer
Sorry, no. You can not factory door lock actuators with 10.00
after market door lock motors.
The amperage will fry the after market motors immediately.

You do not have the correct parts.
The 2 wire actuators would requuire 2 positive relays and
an aftermarket controller / keyless entry to operate them.

If replacing original factory equipment, use original or, made for
this vehicle, parts.

What you have there will not work as you assumed it would.
Sorry. :>(

Good luck.
