Car Alarms: Alarm, shock sensor, flip switch

I removed the battery to work on the truck & found out my truck has an alarm, news to me. shock sensor under dash is audio vox, blue led to left of colom & red toggle under dash. I have tried the other answers i found but none work. also i toggled the switch but don't know which way it was at first... HELP

Hmmmm,
Make sure you do the procedure correctly.
Might have missed a step:

PUT IGNITION KEY IN IGNITION,
KEY ON TO JUST BEFORE CRANKING THE ENGINE.
PRESS IN AND HOLD VALET SWITCH
UNTIL YOU GET A RESPONCE
FROM THE ALARM.

KEY OFF.

This should toggle the alarm in and out of
valet/override.

If toggle type switch.
KEY ON, FLIP SWITCH, KEY OFF,
START THE CAR.
