Car Alarms: Feature which allows one to set and disengage alarm, plastic keychain, alarmtek

Please, since company used to install system is now defunct - and the small plastic keychain attachment required to utilize car alarm has BROKEN (just enough so attaching it to a keychain not possible) what do I do??  Is there a universal attachment out there to replace unit?  HELP, please and thank you.

I suggest safely removing it,
and restorung it to pre installation condition.
