Auto Racing: How can I be good at karting, sarasota florida, track officials

Dear Sir,

I will play karting for the first time. I feel anxious even though the maximum speed is only 40mph.

Is there anything I should know in advance so that I can have a good drive?

Yes:
Please take it EASY.  You will not win a race the first few times out, Go out, try to go quickly but only within your limits.  After you are comfortable at higher speed, you can try to pick up a little here and there. You'll find nearly all your speed in doing the corners perfectly.

Always be courteous to other drivers, and don't intentionally hit anyone on track EVER.  That's being a bad sport.
You must also always be polite to your instructors and other track officials.

Karting is fun and a great experience, but school in the most important thing in your life. Remember that and you will do well at everything you attempt.
