Car Alarms: lock out system, flat key, remote start

Question
I just want to be sure that its I wont get locked out or shut down when I start my Nissan 2003  and it has an aftermarket remote starter in it , and I wanted to use a regular flat key once its running to turn the key to position on ,I believe you said it was safe to do so.

Answer
Safe? Maybe, but
It will depend now on WHAT system you have and the module they used
to bypass it. If they used a "UNIVERSAL" transponder bypass,
there would already be a key buried in the ignition,
but if that is the case, no using a flat or (base) key won't work.

But it would if using the IM05 bypass kit as it is designed
for remote start applications and moves the transponder
to itself, eliminating the sensor IN the ignition switch.
Thus allowing for remote start.

You now need to determine what you have.
Go to a local car alarm shop to find out more about it.
