Car Alarms: Pursuit series Model Pro-9276 car alarm, fuel injection system, chevy suburban

1999 Starcraft Suburban out of Texas.I am in Canada. I am having trouble with my starter and my mechanic says it is caused by the alarm system. Any suggestions?

Hmmm, well a couple of things...

If this is the Chevy Suburban
(not certain of the "Starcraft" part),
but in th 99 Suburban you have 2 factory
"alarms" so to speak. Both annoying.

1. is the noise generating, head light flashing
system that can be bypassed by grounding a wire out.
This is available at www.wirewerx.com (see OEM disarming)

2. is the PASSLOCK II system that controls the fuel
injection system. If this is your issue, you will
need the PLJX bypass kit to get around it.
