Car Alarms: remote starter car alarm, gm passlock, hatch release

Question
I have a 05 Pontiac Grand Prix GT with a factory installed remote starter
but I want to install the Scytek 5100! My car has a automatic
transmission, power locks, and power windows. Would this be a good
choice for my car and what accessories would I need.

Answer
Ok, good call although it's an older unit from Scytek,
& has been replaced with the Vectra 500,
It is/was a very good piece to work with.

Both systems would do well here.

You'd also need the following bypass the
PASSKEY 3 immobilizer system and to do the door locks
correctly:

IM01- Doorlock interface - Programmable Platform# 01: Door Lock & Alarm Interface
Firmware: GMDL5X 1.00 [Door Lock & Alarm Interface]
IM01- Doorlock interface programmable door lock & alarm control interface is preloaded with upgradeable firmware (AMDL) compatible with select GM*, Chrysler, Dodge & Jeep vehicles. Primary interface control functions include: door locks, trunk/hatch release, factory alarm, door pin status output (-), driver & passenger sliding door control & window roll-up. *GM Passlock II & GM Passkey3 data override is also an included primary function of the preloaded AMDL firmware.
=89.95

But that should do it for needed accesories.

Just be certain. that you get after sale technical support
from whomever you buy your equipment from as this
is not the easiest install, and most folks would
need a technician to answer the inevitable Q&A that
will arrise once you get started.

I sell this package complete for this car at: 299.95 + s&h.

You have a good afternoon.
