Car Alarms: Deactivate car alarm., mate 1, designtech

Hi,
   I have a Chrysler GrandCaravan 1998, and I would like to deactivate the alarm system. In the warranty of the alarm say it's an "Auto Mate 1". I remember there was a way to shut it off, but sadly I forgot. If you by any chance know how these procedure is performed I would be very grateful. Thank You for your time.
