Car Alarms: remote start doesnt work, ford fusion, code alarm

I have an '08 Ford Fusion with at Code Alarm CA440SS remote start.  It is only 9 months old, dealer installed.  It has stopped working.  Light on remote flashes, car doesn't start.  Any suggestions that would be quicker than going to the dealer?

Yes, take it to a car alarm shop near by for
inspection. DO NOT GO TO THE DEALER!

Find a technician that does this work,
preferably the one that installed it in the
first place for the dealership, as it is after market,
and likely to have been sub contracted
out at the time of sale.

Tell him that the PATS bypass kit installed is malfunctioning,
and either needs to be reset or reprogrammed to your PATS
system codes again.

They/he will understand.
