Car Alarms: Cant Disarm Car, viper car alarm, keyless entry systems

Question
I have a Viper car alarm that has keyless entry, the ability to roll down the windows by pressing the II button, and a thing that won't let the car start without an electronic key inserted in some sort of device.

At any rate, I attempted to unlock the doors to my vehicle today, but the alarm would not sense the signal from my Viper keychain.  The battery on the keychain was just recently changed, so I know that isn't the problem.  We just had a heavy rain storm, and I saw some condensation inside my vehicle, so I'm thinking this has something to do with it.

I can get into the car by manually unlocking it, but obviously I can't start the car because of the alarm.

Any suggestions?  Thanks.
