Car Alarms: Faulty alarm, crime stopper alarm, dodge avenger

Question
I own a 1996 Dodge Avenger. It broke down last July and has been sitting in my drive way since then. After about 8 months I finally got it fixed. Up and running again. Sort of. After the repairs it seemed to be driving fine, but I was having troubles with the battery. Sometimes it would start, sometimes it wouldn't. Some lights would work, then they would not. Very frustrating. I took it to Checker to get the battery looked at. It is a brand new battery and they said it and the alternator are doing their jobs perfectly. Then they asked if I had an alarm installed. They said that it could be draining battery life. I have an after market Crime Stopper alarm. I have had troubles with the alarm system since before the breakdown. It would not stay turned off once deactivated, and would set off at random, unwanted times.
This morning I went out to start my car and it was completely dead. Everything seemed to be in working order the batter was simply dead. A few minutes after returning inside I could hear my car beeping. It was an unfamiliar constant beep. Not very fast, like an alarm, but like someone were pressing the button repeatedly. I had no way of stopping this loud noise without disconnecting the battery. When I did, the noise stopped, and the second I reconnected the battery, the alarm continued.

What seems to be the problem? I'm very confused. Thank you for your time.

Answer
The starter kill relay on the Crimstopper is
probably frozen open and is affecting the drain.
This needs to be addressed immediately.

If it's me, I'd pull the alarm out, repair the starter wire
by cutting off the relay installed inline, and then
get a new system for it that works FOR you rather
then against.

Start fresh as it were.

I hope this helps.
