Car Alarms: CompuStar Remote Starter 1BAMR, remote car starter, honda fit

Question
Just got a remote car starter as a Xmas present - this morning used it for the first time.  Was very annoyed when my horn started honking as soon as the car started.  Wouldn't stop until I stopped the car.  Same problem again as soon as I was more than 10 feet away from the car and pressed the remote car starter button/started the car.  Did the shop that installed it do something wrong? I have a 2007 Honda Fit with Keyless entry.  Thanks!

Yep, sounds as if they did not put the "disarm
when running wire" so that once the vehicle
is remote started, the factory alarm will disarm
as well.

Give this to the technician:
Alarm Disarm  WHITE (-) DRIVERS KICK ,
IN HARNESS COMING FROM THE DOOR(WHITE PLUG)

And locate the wire on the Compustar system
that does this application.
