Car Alarms: escalade alarm, passlock, remote start

I have a 2003 escalade esv...want to put a remote start and make my alarm 2 way...what is the best way to do this...it has a lot on the stock alarm...any way to make the stock alarm 2 way?...Thanks in advance

Hmmm, well a couple of things on this one.
The door lock system on the 03' Escalade will
not allow for interface for an "ADD ON" remote starter
or for that matter, be able to control any after market functions,
so that's out. You would need to go with the new transmitters.

There are a few good "2way-remote start only" systems
you can look at out there. Go to www.STARTbyREMOTE.com
and www.PAGINGALARMS.com to see what's available.

This truck will also need a bypass module
GM PLJX to get arounf PASSLOCK for remote starting.
So keep this in mind for your budget as well.
