Car Alarms: Ungo MS2000 Problem, resident technicians, toyota tacoma

Question
I have a 2001 Toyota Tacoma with a Ungo MS2000 alarm. My truck  was parked 4 days & when I tried to disarm the alarm w/ my remote it didn't work. So I opened the door & the truck alarmed. I tried the bypass switch & I didn't hold it long enough. The truck would not start & I assumed the car battery was dead. After removing the battery & having it checked I realized it was working fine. I reinstalled the car battery & held the bypass switch long enough to get the truck started. My truck starts but I can't get my alarm to rearm. I tried repeating the bypass & ignition function and the truck beeps 5 times like its supposed to but the alarm doesn't rearm. My remote battery has been replaced & it lights up just fine. However, I don't get any response from the alarm when I push the button. Can you help me w/ the troubleshooting process? Thanks.

Answer
That's hard to say what the problem could
be without first hand inspection. If you
would, restate this question in my installers
forum at www.installsupport.com and see if
my resident technicians there can assist
with this project.

More eyes on this may shake
an idea loose.

They can go into a more detailed assistance
you might need on this project.

Good luck there.
