Tips on Buying Cars: higher milage cadillacs, star engine, independent inspection

I'm comparing two Cadillacs with higher mileage.  The first a 98 eldorado with 119125, the second being a 97 seville with 104913 on it.  How much longer do you think these will go if maintenance was done and is any one a better buy than the other?

your lucky day I happen to have been with GM for over 20 years and still got a 95 Cady Deville that I bought in 96 with at present odometer reading 150K.

First factor you got the North Star engine one of the best GM ever made, the key to your question will be which one will feel tight to you on a road test and from there you take it to a mechanic for an independent inspection, will cost you a few bucks, but it's peace of mind.
