Car Alarms: 1999 Honda Accord Stock Alarm, alarmtek, dash area

Question
QUESTION: My 1999 Accord stock alarm keeps going off randomly. Even when the doors are unlocked and the alarm is NOT armed. I been having to disconnect the battery at night so my neighbours don't kill me. Doing this has been a huge pain in the ass but hasn't been a problem until this morning. I go to re-connect the battery and the alarm goes haywire...the doors are unlocked and the keyless remote WILL NOT stop it, nothing will other than leaving the battery disconnected. How can I get this alarm fixed or permanently disarmed?

ANSWER: Please be more descriptive if possible.

"GOING OFF?"

I need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.

Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
(doubtfull since none of the notes show this
car as having a factory alarm system)=FACTORY

Or,

is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
going off?= AFTER MARKET

Let me know more on this to better
advise you on a course of action
to take.

QUESTION: As I stated, it is a "stock" alarm, not aftermarket. Lights flashing, horn honking. This car DOES have a factory alarm system, I assure you. This is the exact same response I saw when you were answering a question regarding a different Honda.. Is this your automatic response to every alarm question?

Answer
Sorry that my answers were not all that you expected.
I tried to help, and impart the "knowledge" you needed,
but did not meet your expectations.
I will try harder next time.

The 1999 Accord will need the factory alarm remote inspected
and maybe repaired/replaced to solve your issue.
But I suppose you will need to investigate that, and try
all the rest of the "fixes" you can find until you do finally
arrive at the dealership.

That's ok though. Sometimes that's the best thing to do so all
other avenues are covered.

Good luck with it.

Happy Holidays.
