Car Alarms: Sidewinder Alarm from Viper, keyless entry systems, car alarms

Question
I have a sidewinder alarm by viper installed in my 02 F150. This alarm was installed when the truck was brand new. The remote start feature had been set to turn the engine over for X amount of seconds. I had the installer reduce the amount of seconds as it was a little too long. However now that colder weather is here, and the truck is older i think it needs to be set to the longer setting but the company has gone out of business. I remember one time he adjusted it for me by doing something witht he valet button and the key.
