Car Alarms: 2003 Ford Expedition Remote Start, ugly noise, 2003 ford expedition

Hi, my uncle is installing a remote start plus alarm to a ford expedition 2003, (MicroAlarm) he encountered a problem.  When he finished the installation he tries to turn on the vehicle with the remote start control and it starts but you can here the starter from the vehicle going off, in other words the vehicle turns on, it like when you have your vehicle on and you turn it on again, when you here that ugly noise, how can he fix this problem, he has changed the remote start module three times. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Well, 3 times to me means your uncle might want to take it
to a tech who does this work for a living.

3 modules can not ALL malfunction. The odds are too high for that.
If it's running rough, then there will probably need to address
a second and even a third ignition, plus the PATS bypass kit used
may need adjustment or replacement. In any even, a pro
will save time and money when doing this work.

I am sure your Uncle has done a great job, but it's gotten
out of hand here. Damage can be done under
there that can and does cost an arm and a leg to fix.

So it's no harm, no foul to take it to a guy who
can finish it up the right way & safely.

Best idea really.
