Car Alarms: toad car alarm, toad alarm, honda prelude

ive been away working and unfortunately the battery in my 94 honda prelude has gone dead. when i have tried to charge up the bttery the alarm/imobiliser just goes off. the horn intermitantly sounds and the lights flash. im not sure how to reset this. i was told to disconnect the battery for a while then try again but that didt work. ive tried to put the key in the ignition then press the fob buttons but nothign happens. can you hep? im not sure what toad alarm/immobiliser it is sorry
