Car Alarms: 2000 Honda CRV car alarm, honda crv, honda parts

My mother dropped her car keys in the parking lot and a car ran over them busting the keyfob for alarm on the car and the buttons for locking and unlocking the car.  When she uses her just her key to unlock the door the alarm goes off and it happens when she starts the car too.

But I still need to know what alarm is reacting. If it's factory,
it's horn and head lights, if after market it's hazard lights &
a siren.

If factory, you'll need to visit Honda parts and get a new one programmed to it. If after market, there may be a Valet switch
under the dash that would allow for over ride.
