QuestionOn my 2000 Ford Taurus it has a factory (maybe dealership) installed alarm/keyless entry system. Sometimes when I use my factory remote to disarm the alarm system, the car perhaps gets a mixed signal and goes crazy! It would sound the alarm and will not stop no matter how many times I press the unlock/disarm button or any other buttons. I will lock/unlock the door but not shut off the alarm. In your previous post (http://en.allexperts.com/q/Car-Alarms-1513/97-eclipse-market-alarm.htm) your instructions are exactly what I did and it over-rode the alarm system and starter kill.
My question to you is what would be the explanation to why my alarm system goes haywire? Mixed signals? Weak remote battery causing weak unclear signals?

AnswerHard to say really. It could be anything from a
sensitive shock sensor, to a system recieving multiple
signals. It's best to take it into a car alarm shop
and have it evaluated, and the sensors tweeked to your
liking. Onlcy a few bucks, but a good way
to keep the system up to snuf, and learn what it's
capable of.
