Car Alarms: Factory car alarm stuck in theft mode, nissan maxima, alarmtek

I own a 1999 Nissan Maxima and the factory security system is stuck in theft mode. Is there any way to bypass it and fix it. If not, I am looking at a $135 to let the nissan place reprogram it and also a $100 tow bill cause its about 50 miles to the dealership. PLEASE HELP.

No, on this car the door locks and theft system is
intertwined.

They are not independently controlled, so unless
you try the key in the drivers door, turn left
to disarm, right to unlock and start the car,
you would need to add an after market keyless
entry to do the physical lock/and unlock/arm/disarming.
Or, contact Nissan to aquire the OEM remote to control it.

Also this has a transponder in the ignition, and if that has been
tripped, then yes, Nissan is the best place to return back
to factory spec.
