Car Alarms: 04 Dodge Ram Alarm, valet mode, dash area

Question
I have a 2004 Ram which I have had since new.  I have noticed lately that approximately every 4-5 hours or so the alarm gives a very quick sound off of 4 consecutive beeps/horn honks.  When checked the status light doesn't represent any activity, like a attempted tampering of the truck.  Just curious if this is a red flag of some sort, that I should be concerned with.  Thank you in advance for your time.

Answer
If it's the factory system, talk to them about this
to verify it's they'res, and the procedure to reset it.

If it's an after market system.
To try to reset it,
look under the dash area for a button or,
a toggle switch. When you locate it, turn on the
ignition key, press and hold in the button (little
spring loaded micro button, red or black possibly)
until the alarm chirps 1 time. This should over ride
the system, and only the keyless entry part,
if installed, would still be operating.
The LED (light emiting diode) light in the dash
should also go on solid.=VALET/OVERIDE

This stops the alarm except for the keyless
entry if installed. Once in Valet mode,
it will allow the car to start and operate
like there was no alarm at all.

Let me know what you discover.
