Car Alarms: Code Alarm Led replacement, ford f350, volt unit

Question
I have a CA630 Code alarm system installed on my 08 Ford F350. Unit works fine, LED is not working. Checked for continuity on led and was open, replaced with a 12 volt unit but still doesn't work. What is the voltage requirement for the led?

Answer
Most are rated at .03 miliwatts up to the 12 volt types.
So there is "no specifice to all" rating for them.

Really depends on the alarm. Code's are low
voltage. After market hyper LEDS use
a constant 12 volt source, then a ground when armed
lead like the starter kill input, for the (-) ground
output. Then the LED would only come on when
the vehicle is armed and locked.

I would check the manual for all modes that it can
flash, not flash, stay solid etc.. to make sure it is activating
the power in the port itself. Could it be burnt?

Hope this helped some.
