Car Alarms: ford scorpio alarm, ford scorpio, resident technicians

Question
the vehicle had been forcibly moved which must have set off the alarm so i could not  unlock door when i returned.having gained entry with help off mechanic the alarm sounded which we  stopped but still even now i can lock the door but cannot reopen with key have to leave the window open slightly or just leave unlocked.when the door is locked i notice that the alarm does not set .it is factory fitted syustem and have looked under dashboard for reset switch or similar but cannot find

to go to my installers forum at
www.installsupport.com and see if
my resident technicians there can assist
with this project. I don't know
this system and can not advise you properly.
I am certain someone there should have
something that can help.
