Car Alarms: Auto-Mate Alarm system, keyless entry systems, saturn l300

Question
I recently purchased a used 2004 Saturn L300.  I has a Automate alarm system on it and the system goes haywire.  It goes off for no apparent reason what so ever.  Can you PLEASE tell me how I can disarm the system without tripping the switch to lock my engine. If you could please help me with this issue it would be greatly appreciated.
