Car Alarms: 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Alarm, jeep grand cherokee, jeep grand cherokee laredo

Hi,

I bought a used 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and am trying to figure out the alarm system.  What is the difference between the led light button (yes I can push it) on the dash to left of the steering column and little black button under the dash?  Whenever my alarm goes off (usually after coming out of the shop) and cuts the engine, I put the key in half way and press the black button under the dash to turn off the system and am able to start the engine but I when I arm and then disarm the alarm with my remote, the siren goes off again.  Should I be doing something else with the led button?  I also have another led light (which is not a button)closer to the window - is that the LoJack System?

Sounds like a code alarm, but unsure.
On this one, the best thing here is
