Car Alarms: 1995 Acura Integra Alarm, valet mode, acura integra

Question
I have quite a dilemma!!! I have a 1995 Acura Integra 4 door, it has a factory installed alarm. Now here's the problem, the alarm automatically sets and the only way I can disable it is with the remote. My friend has the remote in her purse... now 500 miles away. I have a spare key but when I used it the alarm set off and the ignition locked up. It will be a few days before I my keys in the mail, but I need my car now. Is there any way to deactivate or disable the alarm and use the key manually? I have already undone the battery and when I re-hook it up the alarm continues to blare. I obviously need your help like ASAP!!!!!!  thanks

Answer
Factory alarms do not auto arm.
So ok cool, we know from
this description (good one!)
that it's an after market system.

To try to disarm it,
look under the dash area for a button or,
a toggle switch. When you locate it, turn on the
ignition key, press and hold in the button (little
spring loaded micro button, red or black possibly)
until the alarm chirps 1 time. This should over ride
the system, and only the keyless entry part,
if installed, would still be operating.
The LED (light emiting diode) light in the dash
should also go on solid.=VALET/OVERIDE

This stops the alarm except for the keyless
entry if installed. Once in Valet mode,
it will allow the car to start and operate
like there was no alarm at all.

leave it this way for now until you
get back home.

The next step is if wanting to remove it,
you contact a local technician to
locate it, and affect neccesary service
for you.

That should solve the troubles.

Let me know what you discover.
