Car Alarms: Starter kill key for 1996 Nissan Sentra GXE, nissan sentra, metal pins

Question
My 1996 Nissan Sentra GXE has a starter-kill system installed (came with the car when new), whereby I need to plug in this "padlock-key" under the dash, or the car will not start.  The "padlock-key" is not really a padlock or a key... it is a little piece of square plastic designed to look like a padlock, with 5 or 6 metal pins at the bottom.

Anyway, long story short, I lost my padlock.  I've searched online, etc. for the device, replacement keys, work-arounds, but can find nothing.

Can replacement keys even be purchased for this system?  Can the system be disabled?  Help!  My car is useless without this stupid little piece of plastic.

Answer
Probably either out of business or that
series is out of production. Either way,
you need to cut it out of the ignition column,
and repair the OEM wiring to get the car started.

I sell a similar system (see Micro Lock at www.PASSLOCK2.com)
that you can substitute for yours, but if only
interested in removal, do it correctly.
Get the wire chart for the ignition and safely
remove, repair and tape off as you go.

Let me know how it works out.
