QuestionI own a 2003 hyundai tiburon. automatic. I have the following alarm system shown on subject line. They say I need some sort of adapter. When I wanted to get it install. is this true? Not only that, they gave me some bogus answer, that my car has to be from canada. So ever since, ive had this new alarm systme kit still in the box picking up dust. What can you recomend. The model to this alarm is #AGA2501. please if you know anything helpful let me know. thank you

The car does need a bypass module:

to allow for safe remote starting of the vehicle.
This item in my store is 69.95 .
But the crap they fed you about it having
to be a Canadian vehicle is a simply stupid,
"buy our system, cause yours is garbage."
attempt for your business. Just propaganda.
Go to the next shop for help, or do this
yourself. But if it's me, I would not
give that "install shop" (using the term loosley)
any of my money to do this job.
It's really not all that difficult to do,
but do yourself a favor & shop for the labor
on your project if you are uncertain of your
installation skills.
There are techs out there that can do the job
for reasonable money.
