Car Alarms: remote starters malfunction, remote starters, remote starter

Question
My husband has a 2007 Tahoe with a factory installed remote starter and I have a 2005 Tahoe with an after market remote control starter.  Last night at the same time both of our cars turned on.  We were sitting on the couch and both sets of our keys were laying on the counter not being touched.  Any idea what would have caused this or why.  Definitely a little scary and strange.  Any ideas would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Huh. Never heard of that.
But the odds are astronimical! I honestly do not
have a rational explaination for this one.
