Car Alarms: Running rough, toyota hiace, resident technicians

Hi, I have just had a  S1010 Mongoose alarm fitted to my 1984 Toyota Hiace, The finest in the country. Some lovely people tried to steal it, then parts were stolen off the motor.Since alarm was fitted she has run in a jerky manner at small accelorator openings,and yesterday has become hard to start even when hot. Immobiliser is fitted to ignition [petrol pump is mechanical], alarm connected to door light switch. Please can you help?
