Car Alarms: Pursuit series vehicle alarms, Pro model# 9231 **HELP**, ford f 350, pursuit vehicle

Question
QUESTION: Hi: This site has formally prevented me from answering your reply. I guess you get 3 passes and then you're cut off. I thought it was a typical forum, but I did offer to pay. I understand your answer, and I'll try and do as you instructed. It's already up into the 90's and I'm not a kid anymore. I might have it towed somewhere and have it fixed. I hate wasting another dime on this vehicle. After buying it off eBay for $15,000 I drove it back from Milwaukee. On the way back, it thru a plug and stripped the head. I was in St. Louis and it cost $600 to have it towed back to New Orleans. My truck that was crushed in Katrina was an incredible vehicle. This F-350 and it's seller really did me wrong. To think anyone would be so worried a Ford F-350 would be stolen, that they'd put a redundant cheap Pursuit  vehicle alarm on it is beyond my comprehension. As I said, I'm a disabled Veteran. My age has made it worse, and at 60 I can't crawl under trucks. You've been a Saint and I appreciate it! It's nice to know people still care about others! Best Regards, Sean P.

ANSWER: Don't know why it does that now. It's an all experts thing, not me.

QUESTION: PS., I should've known you were a brother in arms, I reach out to all the local vets when they're in need. After Katrina, my Bobcat and tractor worked non stop for 2 years. Until my wife (who was my nurse in the VA 35 years ago) told me that we need to start on our own home because trees were still in the attic and on the roof. One day soon, I'll warn every potential buyer about buying vehicles (trucks)out of the Mid-West. The people are the greatest, but road salt is so bad that it makes a vehicle worthless after a few years. Being we live on the Gulf you'd think rust is a problem, but my '98 F-150 with 298,000 miles still looks new. I just can't move any heavy trailers without the F-350 and I'm utterly flabbergasted. I have a feeling I'll never hear from the people in Chicago that installed it. The women that answered my call was about as interested in my problem, as someone going in for a colonoscopy. Again, thanks for your help and serving with me back in the 'old' days! Sean P.
