Car Alarms: Car Alarm, mustang gt, dome light

Question
I have a 1998 Mustang GT that was recently broken into. The door lock was knocked out and I just had it put back in. When I lock the doors and unlock the car from either side the alarm goes off. How do I reset the alarm.

You did not finish the install.
The door lock also has the factory alarm
wire attached.

Go back in and be certain ALL wiring is back in
it's place.

If it's an after market system, then the
door trigger (dome light) may be open
and it's reading the voltage drain.

Fix that.

That ought to solve the trouble either way.
