Car Alarms: my remote starting, oldsmobile alero, prestige car

Question
I had the car sent to the place where i had the prestige car alarm put in many times for the same reason and they seem not to be able to fix the problem. When i try to start the car with remote start it tries 3 times and gives up. Then when i go to start it manually the security light comes on. It doesn't do it all the time. My car is a 2003 Oldsmobile Alero. My car has a factory alarm in it called a pass lock system. Can you please help me out?

If the bypass they are using is the correct one, it would work.
Not certain of course what they did, but sounds incorrect.
