Car Alarms: car alarm, honda accord, battery drain

I have a 1997 Honda Accord SE and my driver door when i'm driving is always open. I tried closing it that work by when I start driving the driver door light comes on like the door is open. When I turn the alarm on it just goes off for no reason. So can you help me with this problem.

You just told me the reason.
The door is the trigger. The alarm "reads" this
wire and triggers the alarm when it sees the battery drain.
You need to close & repair it
and the dome light trigger will then work.

Without the repair, the alarm will always
malfunction.
