Car Alarms: 2002 Ford Taurus LX; Car alarm/lock sensitivity adjustment, ford taurus lx, flat head screw

Question
Hey,

My car alarm's motion warning (usually a few short horn beeps) goes off several times a day. I live near a somewhat busy road and the car is parked on a slant. I was told that there was a way to adjust the sensitivity. Any ideas? Thanks for your help,

Sincerely,
Yakov

Answer
Locate the sensor under the dash area
and then normally inset into this sensor is
a turn wheel. A small flat head screw driver is
used here, turning it counter clock wise to
turn down, or off.

Tweek it to your liking, testing it each time
to your satisfaction. Then it will work to
your own particular sensetivity level.

Good luck.
