Car Alarms: Door actuator - creative use, battery power source, volt converter

Hi,

Odd question - I am running a tour in a haunted library for school kids.  We want to remotely push a book off one of the shelves as if a ghost did it.  

Can you offer your expertise.  I'm thinking....

door actuator situated behind book + battery power source (small) + remote control key fob in guides pocket = book flying off of shelf with no visible explanation.

Would appreciate your help.  Possible or no?  Suggestions on the best way to accomplish?

You are absolutely correct.
Door lock actuator. 2 relays.
(push out, retract)
You will need a 12 volt converter
or a charged car battery to make it happen.
