Car Alarms: car alarm problems, system asap, original system

Hi,
I have an FM-2009 V 2.0 Plus in my Honda. I've had it for about a year. I bought it through asianwolf.com. It is a 2way lcd with keyless entry & remote start. all of a sudden my husbands pager was working biut not making any sound. His is a replacement because I accidentally lost his set of keys. So it was working fine as of a couple days ago. The battery is new, so it can't be that. Then I had some trouble with mine. It just wasn't doing anything. You would press the buttons but it wouldn't arm or disarm.. Then I got in the car I pressed the button again and it started working. Now neither one of the pagers is sending a signal again as of yesterday. So the car is not armed. What can it be? Please help!!!! My car has been stolen befor. Do I need a new alarm?

Well, I would probably start by contacting
the seller for some support. The system (FM)
is expensive to make replacements on and
you can't keep repairing and replacing.
Eventually, those remotes will be unavailable.

If they can not step up to help support
they're after sale customer, (this is likely since
the company you bought it from is notorious for
they're "sell n run" kind of business practices)
I'd go elsewhere to get a new system, but yes,
get a replacement system asap or bye bye car :>(.

For now, place the system into VALET/OVER RIDE mode
(KEY ON, PRESS AND KOLD IN CALL BUTTON ON
WINDSHIELD ANTENNA, UNTIL YOU GET A CHIRP.
THIS IS VALET.) Nothing will work at that point
except the keyless entry if installed.

Then put in the replacement.
